Boulder County’s annual rite of spring has returned; county-wide backyard composting workshops are back! Whether you’ve tried composting before with marginal results, or are a composting newbie, this will be two hours well spent!
Backyard composting is an effective way to reduce household carbon footprints and provide quality compost for use in gardens. Come learn how to start and maintain a highly efficient backyard compost system by learning what to feed your compost pile, appropriate bins and methods for our geographic region, tips and troubleshooting, and much more. These workshops are taught by Melanie Nehls Burow a Master Composter in Colorado.Space is limited and registration is required.
