Western’s mission is to make responsible waste management accessible and convenient for our community. We offer two options for recycling certain ‘hard to recycle’ items. Please see table below for pricing and items accepted.
Curbside collection (call or click form to schedule)
Hard to recycle items require special processing before being recycled. This can involve disassembly, managing hazardous components or access to specialty recycling markets. It also includes items banned from the landfill.

*Miscellaneous electronics (e.g.: laptops, tablets, cell phones, CD/DVD players, keyboards, stereos, video game players, cords, chargers) and small household appliances (e.g.: hairdryers, toasters, coffee makers) and can be mixed together in a copy paper sized box).
**Shredding is completed on-site at the time of drop-off. Customers may stay to witness the shredding process.
