Holiday Collection Schedule
Western observes the six holidays listed below. If your collection day falls on or after a weekday on one of these holidays, your collection will be delayed by one day. If any of these holidays fall on a weekend day your collection schedule will not be affected. If a holiday is not listed below that means we are still collecting on that day and will be on a regular schedule that week. Check your collection calendar for details.
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Vacation Policy
- As a Western Disposal subscription residential customer, you may request up to six (6) vacation holds per calendar year. No additional vacation holds will be processed after the sixth (6th) request and no additional vacation credits will be issued after the sixth request.
- All vacation service requests must have a restart date. If you are unable to provide Western Disposal a restart date at the time a vacation stop is requested, it will be necessary for Western to temporarily cancel your service and remove all of our collection carts until you return from your vacation.
- If your vacation service request is for longer than 4 weeks (4 pick-ups), it will also be necessary for Western Disposal to temporarily cancel your account and remove all of the collection carts until you return from your vacation.
- If you are going to be on vacation for longer than 4 weeks (4 pick-ups) or if you have requested a vacation stop without a restart date, and it is necessary for us to temporarily cancel your account and remove our collection carts, we will be happy to restart your account when you return. There is a charge of $30.00 to re-deliver collection carts.
- If it is necessary for Western Disposal to cancel your account and we are supplying collection carts in either of the above situations, you must schedule the return of all of our collection carts. If you do not return any or all of our collection carts as required, your account will be reactivated and charges will be reinstated until all of our equipment has been returned.
