Compost Rebate from the City of Boulder

Did you know you can get a rebate from the city of Boulder for your next compost purchase?  If you live in the city limits, you are eligible for a rebate for up to 50%, or a maximum of $50.00, for the purchase price for soil amendments produced from Boulder County products.

 

If you buy our locally produced “Green ‘N Grow” compost, you will qualify for this rebate.  Western Disposal’s Green ‘N Grow compost is available for sale and pick up at our Trash and Recycle Center.  We also have natural mulch available for purchase but it does not qualify for the rebate. 

 

All products are made from yard waste from the city of Boulder and Boulder County’s yard waste drop-off program and from the City’s Spring Cleanup materials.  No manures are used to make these products.

 

Green ‘N Grow Compost                                                       $24.00/cubic yard

(100% yard waste compost—no manures or bio-solids)

Natural Mulch                                                                           $7.50/cubic yard

2” grind

(no colorant added)

 

Please note:

              1)           1.5 cubic foot bags of compost

              2)           one-half yard minimum purchase on all bulk materials

              3)           mulch does not qualify for the City’s rebate program, only compost

 

  • Free loading of your truck or trailer
  • Delivery service available for a fee (minimum order of 10 yards of compost or 30 yards of mulch)
  • Pick-up hours:  7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (M-Sat)
  • Compost and mulch-use estimator and application guidelines are available at our Trash and Recycle Center gatehouse
  • Our facility is conveniently located at 5880 Butte Mill Road in Boulder
