Hauling your own trash? Why take the time to drive all the way to a landfill? We operate a convenient public disposal site at our facility on the eastern edge of the city of Boulder.
Our Trash and Recycle Center is a "one stop drop." It is not just a trash drop-off site. You can drop off recyclables, electronics, scrap metal, yard waste and wood waste and residential household hazardous waste.
The HHW program is sponsored by all the cities in the County. The yard and wood waste drop-off is sponsored by the city of Boulder and Boulder County. It is free to city of Boulder residents; contractors bringing material from construction job sites located in the city limits of Boulder pay 50% less than the standard disposal rate; and unincorporated Boulder County residents pay 40% less than standard trash disposal rates.
And, while you are dropping off your trash and recyclables, you can purchase compost and mulch that is made from your yard and wood waste at our compost facility.
If you would like additional information about any of these items, just click on the item at the left under Trash and Recycle Center.
