Did You Know?
Organic waste makes up about 20% of the waste stream – this material can be converted into compost and wood mulch rather than being landfilled as trash.
For many of our residential customers, there are options for disposing of yard waste via our curbside collection services. If you have a 32- or 64-gallon compostables cart and need more capacity, your service may include a 96-gallon cart at no extra charge – Call us at 303-444-2037.
If our residential curbside collection is not an option, bring your yard waste material to us!
The yard waste drop-off is subsidized by the City of Boulder and Boulder County. Residents receive a 40% discount from normal yard waste drop-off pricing.
The yard and wood waste drop off sites are located at Western’s Trash & Recycle Center. Click here for hours and directions.
